Day 3: Sunday Calligraphy

Sunday continued with a Calligraphy workshop with Rodolfo, the creator of the handmade Rolfpens Calligraphy pens for Gestural Calligraphy.

The third day after Malaga Type, Rolfpens organised a small calligraphy workshop where I had the opportunity try out some of the pens. We started at 10:30. First with straight lines, angled lines, then half circles, circles and waved lines to begin with. After some 30 minutes we continued with writing text. Every pen is different.

We collaborated and finished the lettering sign together. I feel so happy about this day.

At the end we did some exercises for getting used to see the white space. That was tough.
